Africana Studies Scholarship

Help a William Paterson student by making a gift to the Africana Studies Scholarship. The student scholarship recipient must be a full-time undergraduate who is enrolled in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and possess a grade point average of 2.75 or higher. Primary preference will be given to an African American student who is majoring or minoring in Africana Studies. Secondary preference will be given to an African American student.

If we are successful in raising $25,000, it will enable us to establish an endowed scholarship, which will create a legacy for the Africana Studies Scholarship and allow scholarships to be awarded in perpetuity. If the minimum scholarship endowment level is not met, the funds raised for the Africana Studies Scholarship will be awarded to students annually until all funds are fully depleted.
